www.tgels.com is used by sophisticated, educated and intelligent users who are trying to save by searching multiple booking sites, airline websites, comparing air fares before buying a fare. You can reach these users by advertising on www.tgels.com.

Advertisements are shown using our patent pending Dynamic Time Based System on different Target Areas on the website, see preview of a Guide Selections Target Area. Target Areas are like view ports on a html page. Advertisements
can be text or image based.  See below table and preview to get details of the different Target Areas and the type of advertisements.

All Advertisements are time based. The time an advertisement is visible to the user is based on the different Target Areas and the type of advertisement. A Guide Selection Target Area advertisment is visible to the user for about 30 or more secs, see preview, while a Dynamic Guide Selections Table Target Area advertisement is visible for about 150 secs, see preview.  These advertisements are shown when the user is eagerly waiting for the search results and are shown to grab user attention. There are 3 types of advertisements, Time Based, CPM and PPC.  A Time Based Ad is billed on the time an AdUnit is visible to the customer. Visibility is dependent on the different Target Areas, see below table for more information. A CPM advertisement is billed based on the number of impressions and the time an advertisement is visible. For eg, an advertisement could be visible for 5 secs and will be billed for 1000 impressions. A PPC advertisement again has a time attribute but is billed only if the user clicks on an advertisement.

An advertisement is shown as an AdUnit. An AdUnit  is like a container containing one or more Ads. The Ads in the AdUnit are shown in sequence one after the other. Each Ad has a time attribute that controls how long an Ad is visible. See Steps to create an Ad below for more details on how to create an AdUnit and set the time for an Ad.

Steps to create an advertisement -- Getting started demos

To show an advertisement in any of the Target Areas, you will have to create an AdUnit. An AdUnit is like a container that holds one or more Ads. Text Ads can have a title, description, show and click url . You decide on the number of Ads in an AdUnit. The Ads in the AdUnit are shown in sequence one after the other. Each Ad has a show-time attribute and you can use this to control how long each Ad is visible to the user. An AdUnit will be shown anywhere between 10 secs to 200 secs. The Ads in the AdUnit allow you to create motion catching user attention.

The Ads in the AdUnit will be streamed in sequence with each Ad shown for the show-time. For eg. if show-time is 2 second, at the end of 2 seconds the second Ad is shown and so on. Once the last Ad is shown, Ads are cycled back and the first Ad is shown again. See preview here.

Tip: To get maximum attention, set “show time” to 1 sec and have about 2 or 3 Ads per AdUnit.


AdUnit Pricing

There are two types of pricing, fixed price and competitive bidding. With fixed pricing, you pay a fixed price for a minimum of a week or more. The fixed pricing AdUnit has priority over a bid AdUnit and will be shown first even if a bid is higher than the fixed price.
